The Role

The Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) Intern is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Madison facility's environment, health, and safety program initiatives. This position works with all departments, and the EHS-assigned scope is included in the daily work plans and schedules. The Intern also supports compliance with some basic regulatory reporting requirements.

Assist in executing an effective EHS&S program that meets all regulatory requirementsGather information necessary for SOPs covering EHS&S-related activitiesAssist in ensuring the audit program is implemented and followedConduct and update risk assessments with assistance from EHS&S specialistsSafety Champions and other members through scheduled monthly meetings and help conduct monthly site auditsSupport Implementation Continuous Improvement opportunities as identifiedEnsure contractor EHS&S compliance and work with various departmentsOther duties as assigned

The Candidate

In order to be eligible for the EHS&S Internship at Catalent, you must meet the following requirements:

Currently enrolled in a College or UniversityMust be an undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or related field of study Eligible to legally work in the United StatesAble to work full-time (40 hours/week)
