Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Processes (IE & MP) Intern to join our team in La Tijera, Mexico. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in applying industrial engineering principles to real-world manufacturing processes.

Assist in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivityCollect and analyze data to support process improvement initiativesParticipate in time and motion studies to identify areas for workflow enhancementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvementsSupport the development and maintenance of standard operating proceduresAssist in creating and updating process documentationContribute to ongoing quality control effortsParticipate in team meetings and present findings to supervisors

QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldBasic knowledge of industrial engineering principles and manufacturing processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with data analysis techniquesBasic understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEnthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts in a practical settingFluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
