Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tTechnical documentation preparation and maintenance
•\tSupport to PB/PBA design projects
•\tSupport to project lead
•\tMCAD Drawings and 3D modeling
•\tComponent and system analysis
•\tSupport to thermal, structural and durability analysis
•\tTest equipment design
•\tTechnical interactions with customers and subcontractors
YOU MUST HAVE
•\tPursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
•\tThe Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for Canadian CGP (Controlled Goods Program) clearance.
•\tMust graduate May 2026.
WE VALUE
•\tKnowledge of Mechanical Design, including thermal and structural analysis
•\tFamiliarity with FEA tools
•\tKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
•\tKnowledge of 3D CAD systems, Creo / ProEngineer/Team Center preferred
•\tExperience with GD&T
•\tUnderstanding of mechanical part manufacturing techniques
•\tUnderstanding of PBA build processes
•\tKnowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
•\tHands-on experience building and testing prototypes
•\tIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done
•\tIndividuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
•\tStrong written and verbal communication skills
