Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in analyzing structural requirements and load conditions for bridge projects Support the design of custom bearings for specific bridge applications Contribute to manufacturing production processes by providing technical support Participate in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes Learn to determine product and process manufacturing flow, material and labor requirements, and quality inspection points Assist in creating and maintaining manufacturing routers and processes Collaborate with the test lab to create processes and tooling designs Collect, analyze, and summarize test data under supervision Contribute to writing test plans and reports for new programs Observe and assist in troubleshooting processes and tooling issues Maintain accurate project records, including design data and customer specifications Create basic designs and drawings based on engineering specifications Learn and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles Interact with internal teams as an engineering intern representativeRequired Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office suite Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through coursework, projects, or hobbies Experience working in team environments Commitment to punctuality and regular attendancePreferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with manufacturing processes Basic ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings Foundational knowledge of engineering materials Exposure to solid modeling software
MIN: $21 to $22 per hour
