About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and versatile professional to join our Support team. This role encompasses a blend of responsibilities across all Support verticals ensuring seamless operations and adherence to best practices

Responsibilities

Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and peripherals via phone, email, and chat.

System Maintenance: Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights according to company policies.

Documentation: Record solutions and support requests in the ticketing system for accurate tracking.

Network Maintenance: Support routine tasks like monitoring performance, managing switches/routers, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Network Documentation: Help maintain network diagrams, inventory, and documentation.

Security Monitoring: Monitor and report suspicious activities or vulnerabilities in IT systems.

Policy Implementation: Support the implementation of security policies and procedures, such as patch management and endpoint protection.

Compliance: Assist with audits and compliance checks to ensure cybersecurity best practices.

Project Participation: Contribute to cross-functional projects and IT operational improvements.

Task Automation: Identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.

Knowledge Sharing: Engage in knowledge-sharing initiatives and maintain a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of IT support, networking, and security principles. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of ITIL framework or service management principles. Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Active Directory, and endpoint management systems. Exposure to networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security basics. Hands-on experience (academic or internship) with IT support tools and practices.
