R&D Local Unit Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tParticipate in the completion of product structure design and drawing based on product functional and process requirements (using Pro-E to design 2D or 3D)•\tParticipate in sample production and process tracking, contact suppliers to track technical issues•\tInspect new samples according to drawings and specifications•\tAuxiliary samples and new product testing•\tParticipate in product related technical analysis and related calculations•\tOther auxiliary experiments or work

Qualifications for the role

\tCollege students with a background in mechanical engineering, master's degree preferred\tThe internship period is three months, and those who can come for 3-5 days will be given priority consideration\tFamiliar with design related software eCAD (Pro-E, CERO) is preferred\tFamiliar with Ansys or COMSOL finite element structural analysis is preferred\tStrong work initiative and sense of responsibility
