Overview
The Intermediate Compensation Analyst supports the effective design, implementation, communication and administration of the company's compensation plans such as base salary administration, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, salary increases, and salary surveys for salaried employees. Requires knowledge of and experience in compensation and human resources administration; uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products and services. Solves problems and takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works under moderate guidance on most tasks.
This position is a hybrid position and can be located in KY, PA, or RI.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure compliance with all federal and state compensation related regulations to include Wage and Hour, FLSA, EPA, EEO, OFCCP, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
+ Administers compensation programs, plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines
+ Maintains Compensation's portfolio of salary surveys through annual participation and update of Compensation's market data software database.
+ Maintain and operate the compensation systems to ensure data integrity such that appropriate decisions may be made regarding salary adjustments, market pricing, performance, position descriptions, incentive results and bonus calculations.
+ Supports the administration of the annual salary adjustment and incentive process to include communication of timelines, oversight of compensation systems, company calibration, prepare documentation of target vs. actual incentive measure results and ensure associated approvals.May also participate in system preparation, testing, and roll-out.
+ Interprets market pricing data using Compensation-approved standards and methodology examining external benchmark and considering internal equity.
+ Advise HR Managers on appropriate action considering various analyses of market and employee data regarding salary administration, job evaluation, and performance data.
+ Serves as resource for HR staff and affiliated business units to consult on compensation issues and administrative procedures. Present facts and recommendations in oral and written form.
+ May assist in corporate goal setting process and stock plan administration.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
**Intermediate Compensation Analyst Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ **2+ years of** **experience in compensation** **administration** .
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization in offering advice and counsel on compensation matters.
+ Ability to work responsibly with highly confidential information. Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of statistics.
+ Knowledge of non-exempt and exempt compensation programs.
+ Highly proficient in various technology areas to include the Microsoft suite, knowledge of HRIS, compensation systems, and ability to update queries, create VLOOKUPS, pivot tables and excel graphs and reports.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or business administration preferred.
+ Classes toward WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
