Marketing Specialist

Salary: £34,000 per annum pro rata, plus company benefits

Location: 18 Central Avenue, St Andrews Business Park, Norwich NR7 OHR

Contract: Fixed term contract (three months long), part time

Hours: 25 hours per week

Shifts: Monday through Friday from 9am - 5:30pm

Break: 1-hour lunch, unpaid

Work model: Hybrid (flexible; at least 1-2 days in office)

Purpose of role

The Stationery Office (TSO) is recruiting a fixed contract, experienced Marketing Specialist to support the Marketing Director and deliver effective market analysis and marketing activities to enable TSO’s continued growth in the regulatory publishing market.  

Key Responsibilities

Support the marketing director on planning and delivering corporate marketing activities to deliver new business opportunitiesActively research developments in the regulatory market, providing regular updatesActively research our target organisations to support prospecting activitySetting SMART objectives for all activities, identifying industry benchmarks, evaluating marketing activities and identifying improvements Co-ordinating TSO’s social media activity including LinkedIn and driving engagement with our target marketCreating new content to reinforce the TSO propositionUploading content updates to the TSO websiteOrganising and co-ordinating online and in person eventsWorking collaboratively with internal stakeholders across the business, in particular with colleagues in client management and business developmentLeading on marketing special projects to continually improve our service deliveryAct as a role model for the rest of the team to roll out marketing processesProviding plans and content for new business bids and retendersDeveloping case studies and testimonials from client feedback and informationManagement of the TSO brand

Key Competencies

Experience in creating effective marketing strategies and annual plansAbility to analyse information from a range of sourcesCampaign evaluation and reporting of resultsCustomer journey mapping and persona creationDeveloping segmentation, targeting and positioning strategies to inform campaign messagingExperience of managing multiple marketing channels including email, social media, paid search, online resellers, ecommerce, eventsCollaboration with internal stakeholders and clientsAbility to effectively brief and manage external and internal suppliersUnderstanding of GDPR and other legal requirementsAbility to communicate clearly both verbally and in written formProject management skills to ensure activities are delivered on time, to quality standards and within budget.
