As the Interim Country Controller for Kantar Greece, you will lead the Financial Controlling function, overseeing statutory and fiscal reporting, local compliance, and controls. You will guide the team through a period of transformation, ensuring the delivery of changes within the agreed timeline. Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, you will facilitate a smooth transition and standardise processes across Kantar divisions.
What you’ll be doing
Harmonise financial and administrative procedures, policies, and processes across Kantar divisions.Ensure an appropriate controls environment is in place and monitor compliance.Manage and develop a team of three, ensuring they have the skills and competencies to execute their responsibilities effectively.Oversee interactions with auditors and ensure audit compliance and statutory accounts sign-off.Provide financial information and analysis to enable business stakeholders to make informed decisions.Oversee financial operations, including payroll, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and treasury.Manage month-end accounts and reporting.The skills & experience needed as Interim Country Controller
Strategic and hands-on Financial Controller with a proven track record of engaging and influencing key stakeholders.Experience in a Finance Director, Finance Controlling, or Management Accounting role.BSc in Finance or Accounting and a professional license (A’ degree) to sign-off statutory accounts in Greece.Demonstrated ability to deliver against set objectives within budget and timeline.Experience driving medium/large teams through change.Expertise in managing statutory and regulatory compliance and IFRS.High integrity, confidence, and technical expertise in financial management and accounting.Fluency in Greek and English.What’s in it for you
