Responsibilities You will oversee the hazardous waste program, operations and management of the Environmental Services Contract. You will provide environmental technical support to customers, including but not limited to preparing project statement of work, developing government cost estimates, preparing budget, managing funds, and assisting in financial reporting. You will review data and reports generated by service provider for quality assurance and quality control. You will monitor service contractor's performance to ensure quality product, provide technical input to the service contractor, and review and approve invoices. You will identify program funding needs and accurately manage/track fund execution. You will conduct on-site Quality Assurance evaluations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This position has a Selective Placement Factor for those applying for the GS-0819, Professional Environmental Engineering Series that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
