Ensure timely and quality completion of period close processes
Manage analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions.
Review, control and approve Account Reconciliations of Intercompany accounts.
Supervise month-end close activities and communicate risks and opportunities to the Leadership Team.
Find opportunities to improve closing activities and drive process improvement
Take leadership role for accounting related issues and ensure company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP and local GAAP
Maintain business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers.
Supervise and support clerks by fostering a team environment, providing guidance, and conducting regular meetings to gather feedback, offer support, and enhance team culture.
Handles special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
What you need:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
4-5 years of relevant working experience in a Intercompany function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
Proficiency in the English language (B2+)
Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel
ERP System (SAP, Oracle or QAD
Preferred
Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage
Travel Percentage: 10%
