Intelligence Analyst-Global Safety Security

Chubb’s Global Safety, Security and Business Continuity (GSSBCM) has critical areas that are driven by a Duty of Care to protect our people, property, reputation, and brand. GSSBCM acts as a shared service to support Chubb Business Units and Corporate functions –as an integrator that can assist with reducing risk, and enhancing resilience, through deliberate planning, progressively challenging exercises, and transparent policies and processes.

The Intelligence Analyst-Global Safety Security supports GSSBCM and business functional leaders. They execute the various core functions of the GSOC to include, but not limited to: Incident Recognition/Escalation, Intelligence Analysis, Emergency Response, Supply Chain Security, Travel Security and Physical Security. 

This role will work at the direction of both Chubb Crisis Management & Security Operations Management and Chubb's Lead Intelligence Analyst to accomplish program initiatives and work on day-to-day assignments and projects within Chubb’s (GSOC). The Analyst will assist in GSOC core processes and work closely with key partners across the security organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the development of global risk and intelligence products aimed at identifying and mitigating business risks presented by man-made events, natural events, or geopolitical developments. Performs daily functions of the GSOC that include but are not limited to risk intelligence, incident/crisis response, emergency notification, travel security, and physical security. Supports threat profiles, activity, and trends from all available sources (open source, Agency feeds, commercial feeds, and dark web), including pattern analysis from OSINT sources. Conducts regular country threat assessments, ad hoc threat assessments and security updates as required, as well as investigations and research into emerging threats, threat actors, issues, and topics at the Lead Intelligence Analysts request. Support GSOC’s Crisis Manager’s response during incidents impacting Chubb. Navigate incident and social media monitoring and mass notification platforms such as Everbridge, International SOS Travel Portal, Crisis24, LifeRaft Navigator, TopoONE, and other crisis alerting/open-source intelligence tools. Research and analyze global intelligence data, including but not limited to social media, news agencies, intelligence providers, and Chubb regional security leads. Evaluates global incidents that may impact employees or offices and escalate accordingly to security management and subsequently to other business units within the company. Contribute to GSOC projects and security activities. Familiarity with Open-Source monitoring and research best practices. Online monitoring of open and closed source material to provide relevant and timely notifications to internal stakeholders about developing threats. Support the corporate Travel Security program. 1 to 3 years prior work experience in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis, social media monitoring and collection, threat assessment, or investigative-related services.Natural curiosity about world events with working knowledge of the world and local events.Experience providing written communications (i,e. Awareness Briefings, Incident Reports, security investigations) with attention to detail; demonstrated ability to compose succinctly written products. Experience producing well-researched concise reports and presentations tailored to a variety of audiences.Knowledge of advanced OSINT (open-source intelligence) tools and techniques and adapting research methods for new threats.Substantial analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize key insights from diverse datasets.Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, International Studies, Intelligence Studies, English, History, or other related field preferred. Graduate degree strongly preferred.Experience with online research and investigation processes.
