Integration Specialist
Overview We are currently looking for a Integration Specialist for our Billing Department. Below lists the duties, responsibilities and the qualifications needed for this position. We will train the right individual. Responsibilities Missing Paperwork Reconciliation-Reviews Reconciliation reports and follows established guidelines to reduce bottlenecks with integration between software systems. To include, but not limited to: Monitoring dataflows from cradle to grave in the integration process Refreshing missing data reports as errors are rectified to reduce redundant workloads Send daily Missing Paperwork Reports to respective divisions Conducts Tier 1 and 2 Investigations for documentation research in Zoi as outlined in the Integration procedure for Dispatch/Patient Care/Reimbursement Software Direct outreach and logging of historical “incomplete charts” to the operations management team which may include Messaging crew members through various applications Escalating to managers when demerit trends are identified with specific areas of the business Run various automation scripts during dataflow outages for recovery operations Assist in recovery operations during dataflow outages Send daily Clarifications through the Zoi and Image Trend Portals Review Received “corrections and changes” from operations staff for completeness and forward to processing as needed Daily review of new charts identified as not having appropriate demographic data, outreach to on-site coordinators, customer contacts, facilities, and other resources as needed to rectify missing or incomplete information Onboard and offboards employees as notified by HR via Monday.com or separation notifications. Periodically audits user lists for gaps in active employee lists Ownership of Zoi Logins for Operational staff Participate in ad hoc projects related to administrative maintenance of various software platforms to maintain proper integration Assists in investigations related to licensure audit and controls for appropriate protocols being followed Collaborates with Leadership on documenting best practices and training materials for company communication to reduce dataflow blockages due to user error Assists in communication during system outages across departments, works with software vendors on correcting outage problems and potential configuration errors in the administration of charting software Meets with software vendors regularly on data gaps with charts and correcting via tickets with the vendor Follow up on aging clarifications when not responded to by operations for more than 3 business days, document all follow-up according to policy Acknowledge and escalate gaps in the responsiveness through reporting on specific trends in outreach Collaborate with stakeholder departments and Data Intergration Manager to identify gaps in current processes and implement future solutions Assist Data Science, IT, Dispatch, and Accounts Receivable departments with system configuration needs Qualifications Critical Qualifications Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills Exhibit ability to think critically and investigate gaps between software integrations Microsoft office suite proficiency, including modern Office 365 applications Knowledge of EMS software systems and the EMS revenue cycle process Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an EMS call center Knowledge of medical terminology related to EMS operations Familiarization with relational databases (MSSQL) and Power BI Project management experience or knowledge of project deployment best practices
