Integration Architect
A financial firm is looking for an Integration Architect to join their team in New York, NY.

Pay: $95/hr

Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership:
- Define, document and communicate integration patterns.
- Establish standards for securing integration patterns.
- Provide architectural assessments for integration aspects of proposed solutions.
Solution Design:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices and established patterns are followed in the design, development, and deployment of application solutions.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with developers, engineers, and other technology disciplines to promote cohesive and efficient development processes.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
- Present architectural solutions to stakeholders.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that solutions comply with industry and bank standards and security policies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in information technology.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.

Qualifications:
10 years of experience in application development, including extensive expertise in file-based, database, messaging and web services design with emphasis on information security.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing various types of integrations using various data structures such as JSON, XML, CSV and Fixed-Length Fields. 

Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of mainstream integration patterns, legacy and modern architectures, and cloud technologies preferably in an AWS environment – more specifically, cloud managed services, containerization, package management and CI/CD pipelines.
- Detailed and low-level knowledge, experience, and understanding of security and encryption patterns, and protocols required to secure integrations including Basic Auth, OAUTH, SAML, OIDC, SSO, JWT, and IDP integration patterns.
- Ability to produce actionable technical design documents for critical and complex scoped items collaborating with developers.
- Real-world experiences with enterprise integrations (file-based, database, messaging and web services) and able to influence the right solution approach taking all stakeholder viewpoints.
