Integration and Testing Engineer Lead

The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. The Lone Wolf program boasts a professional workforce comprised of specialists throughout the Information Technology lifecycle and who contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities\: 
The duties and responsibilities of the Lead Integration and Testing Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following\:

Supervise the testing of all software and hardware on the network, including new features, enhancements, and fixes for bugs and defects.   Manage a team of HW and SW engineers to evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.   Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.  Work with hardware vendors to determine the next generation of devices before they reach end of life.   Configure and test STIGs for functionality on IT systems.   Write, implement, and report status of test cases to program government leads.   Track test execution milestones and report on issues and risks having the potential to affect project timelines.   Serve as subject matter expert providing testing expertise for support of user requirements of complex to highly complex hardware applications.   Develop, release, and maintain test procedures.   Demonstrate creativity and foresight by identifying, preparing, and presenting detailed technical reports and briefings on new concepts and technical directions impacting programs/projects, and defining future technology requirements.   Collaborate with software test engineers and other stakeholders to address any and all compatibility concerns   Collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, development, and testing of new technologies.   Evaluate alternative courses of action and make recommendations based on sound research.   Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.

Requirements\: 

Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 2019 Server, Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 2019, KMS, DNS, WSUS, group policies, PKI, SharePoint, MECM, and deploying workstation images    Experience in testing software in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment  Experience with configuration management and software release cycles  Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skill  Ability to adapt to changing technology  Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.   Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.   

Clearance Required\: 

Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or eligible for SCI 

Minimum Education\: 

High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience\:  

At least 10 years of relevant experience

Required Certifications\:

DoD 8140 IAT BaseIine Certification\: Security CE certification or equivalent  One of the following Windows Certifications\: (MD-102) Microsoft 365 Certified\: Endpoint Administrator Associate; (SC-900) Microsoft Certified\: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; (SC-200) Microsoft Certified\: Security Operations Analyst Associate; (SC-400) Microsoft Certified\: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate. 

Preferred\: 

Familiarity with VMware virtualization, Commvault data backups/restores, Trellix antivirus software, Kiwi Syslog Server, ACAS, Splunk, RHEL, Citrix, Dell Wyse Management Suite, and thin or zero clients *
