The Integrated Care Recovery Support Navigator is an exciting opportunity for a person to provide care coordination to people building a recovery-based life as well as provide information and resources to CBHC staff helping these individuals with regards to substance misuse problems.   

Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Degree Additional Shift Details This position can be part time (20 hrs/week) to full time (40 hours/week); hybrid position with occasional office time in Framingham. Responsibilities Engages individuals as they present in the treatment system for substance misuse problems and supports them in accessing relevant services.Develop linkages with community resources that promote a sober, recovery focused lifestyle while addressing system barriers to a person’s successful recovery. Provides care navigation services to individuals with substance misuse and mental health problems to enhance treatment engagement, education and support throughout the continuum of care.   Works with individuals and their families to motivate and maintain them in culturally relevant behavioral health services in their community.  Acts as a resource for CBHC staff regarding addiction resources, treatment models, and strategies for supporting individuals in recovery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human services, related field or discipline, or LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor), or has a recognized certification and/or licensure to work with some level of expertise and competence, with people with recovery based needs.  The ideal candidate must possess knowledge and understanding about treatment for and recovery from substance use disorders.The ideal candidate will have familiarity with community-based addiction services and resources in the geographic area and/or in Massachusetts.An active driver’s license is required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working within an interdisciplinary teamBasic computer/technology skills to effectively use a medical health record.Understanding Peer Recovery and Recovery Coach models of support in treatment is helpful

 

This position will work with identified community partners per contract, to include Community Based Health Centers, Public Health Commissions, Community Partner programs, etc.
