Wood is recruiting for an Insurance Claims Advisor to join its Legal function where you will play an important role in the Insurance team and Wood’s interaction with claims stakeholders both internally and externally. The role provides critical support for the management of insurance claims under Wood’s global insurance and other risk transfer arrangements ensuring claims are met by insurers in accordance with agreed policy wordings.
This is a permanent position in the UK where we offer flexible working and are open to both hybrid and remote working.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for applicants to join us, you should have experience in dealing with insurers, brokers and third-party administrators to collect and update insurance claims information and records.
In this role you will ensure to contribute to continuous service improvement and improve ways of working and processing efficiencies within the team through claims data analysis.
You will act as a referral point to Wood Business Units and Functions for advice and guidance on insurance claims.
We are looking for a strong communicator with the confidence to work independently while also able to establish effective working relationships.

Our Insurance Claims teams operate within multi-jurisdictional insurance and legal environments and operates with independence and requires judgement in its areas of responsibility to influence the direction and outcome of insurance claims against Wood and its global and local insurance policies.
