 Job Summary: 

To assist the Commercial Lines service staff and Client Advisors (as necessary) in servicing new and existing accounts, with a positive attitude, as stated by agency guidelines and procedures. A Commercial Lines Account Coordinator is committed to delivering a consistently impeccable experience. 

Responsibilities: 

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Renewal Application/File Preparation

Produce pre-renewal and renewal schedules

Request loss runs. 

Create premium loss summary, where applicable. 

Obtain MVR’s, as required. 

Provide proof of insurance to clients and/or mortgagees via ID cards, certificates of insurance, or evidence of insurance after verifying coverage

Handle requests timely and accurately in accordance with agency procedures and service standards. 

Accurate and timely processing of endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements.

Prepare audit letter, and, if agency bill, request check to include with the letter.

Ensure accuracy of new or existing data.

Education/Experience: 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial processing desirable.

4-40 insurance license required within 90 days of being in this position.

If candidate does not have commercial insurance background, must demonstrate a strong knowledge of fundamental insurance principles.

Familiarity with the Applied Epic agency management system a plus
