What Will Be Your Environment:

This site is our coorporate headquarters located in Wickliffe, Ohio. You will be working in the Pilot Plant on tank farms, boilers, and other instruments across the Wickliffe site.

 

What You'll Do:

Instrumentation Technicians are highly skilled professionals who specialize in design, installation, system alignment, troubleshooting, and the maintenance of testing equipment & monitoring devices in the laboratories, plant environments, and across the site.  Calibrations using approved procedures to measure and control multiple disciplines including pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, amongst others.  Assigned tasks will include calibration, utility process controls, associated testing equipment, and bench top testing for various devices.

 

What We're Looking For:

Utilize experience and knowledge to assist Engineering at the Wickliffe site develop the best solutions to challenges, emerging issues, and evolving technologies. Performing all necessary servicing, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis, and restorative maintenance duties on field instrumentation and local control panels. Carry out the corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities in accordance with standard operating procedures, HSE guidelines, and ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Management Systems. Test electronic components and circuits to locate defects using signal generators, digital multimeters, pressure standards and other measurement equipment as required. Ability to use test and calibration equipment to calibrate transmitters and control loops. Ability to use computer and related computer software to program controllers and analyze control loops.

Skills That Make a Difference:

Associate Degree, or enrolled and >50% complete, in accredited Electronic Technology Program, consideration provided for related field of study, or equivalent military education/experience. Ability to use engineering drawings, schematics, and service manuals to install, troubleshoot, align, and repair equipment. Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry to troubleshoot and effect repairs to microprocessor-based instruments, computer hardware, data acquisition, and annunciator systems. Perform all work to a high standard of safety including confined space entry, hot work, lock out/tag out, and working from heights.

About You

Our innovative and growing company is searching for detail-oriented technicians with experience in calibration, preventative maintenance, and design of industrial process control systems.  You will be working with engineers or project managers to provide support to our state-of-the-art testing laboratories.  You will work with electronic test equipment, hand tools, methods, materials, and techniques used in repair, adjustment, and testing of these systems. In addition, you will be responsible for the timely completion of preventive maintenance items and will demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with shifting priorities as testing needs change.  You will perform all work in a safe and timely manner in accordance with our Health and Safety Department.
