Instrumentation and Control System Engineer
Requirements:
• At least 5 - 10 years’ experience in Instrumentation and Control (includes 5 years EPC).
• With bachelor’s degree in engineering (ECE, EE or Instrumentation)
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to address detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Specific Technical skills/Job descreption:

• Create instrument index and datasheets, generation of reports and monitoring of wiring and loop design activities in SmartInstrumentation® database (i.e. include Pressure, Level, Temperature, Flow meters, Automated Valves and PSV/PRVs).
• Perform, check, and audit control systems sizing calculations for control valves, relief valves, flow elements, thermowells and other instrumentation.
• Develop complex control systems narrative specifications.
• Prepare complex instrument design and installation requirements.
• Develop complex control systems logic diagrams and/or cause and effect diagrams.
• Closely monitor 3D modeling prepared by the design group using review software.
• Develop complex specifications for Distributed Control System (DCS), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) hardware and software applications.
• Monitor DCS/PLC/SIS design development by the design group.
• Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects.
• Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts.
• Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
• Review and approve vendor lists, prepare quotation request/bid tabulation/purchase orders and review substitutions for technical acceptability.
• Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems of difficult engineering complexity on several projects.
• Establish and lead the squad checking effort for vendor equipment documentation for assigned equipment.
• Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution.
• Prepare/review scopes of work for third party contracts.
• Knowledgeable on CS Design Deliverables   
• Experience on Multi-discipline interfaces
• ACAD/Microstation Experience
• Work with softwares; SPI, SPR, FDO, (S3D is a plus)
• Able to develop and check the following CS Deliverables:
      - Instrument Cable Schedule
      - Instrument Index
      - MTO
      - Location Plan Drawings
      - Wiring Diagrams
      - Loop Drawings
•  P&ID Development 
• Well Familiar on SABIC and ARAMCO Practices and Specifications
• Well Familiar with Saudi Building Code, HCIS SAF and SEC standards.
• Well Familiar with International Standards.
• Well Familiar with SmartPlant Instrumentation and InstruCalc.
