We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Designer and Software Trainer to support the rollout of new enterprise-wide IT systems. This role is critical in ensuring that employees across the organization are equipped to effectively adopt and utilize new systems through engaging, high-quality training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, software training, and ideally a familiarity with the construction industry.

Responsibilities Instructional Design:
Develop engaging training materials and curricula tailored to diverse audiences, including in-person and online delivery formats.Create job aids, user guides, e-learning modules,a nd scenario-based simulations to enhance learning outcomes.Collaborate with SMEs, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure content aligns with system functionality and business needs.Training Delivery:Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for end-users, ensuring understanding and engagement.Conduct live demonstrations, hands on workshops, and interactive sessions to drive adoption of enterprise IT systems.Provide follow-up support and coaching to address user challenges and reinforce learning.Implementation Support:Act as a training liaison during system roll-outs, providing real-time assistance and gathering feedback to refine materials.Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through surveys, assessments and analytics, and use insights to enhance programs.Collaboration and Communication:Partner with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and change management strategies.Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and training, with a focus on systems trainingExperience in the construction industry or similar field is highly preferredTechnical Skills:Proficiency in e-learning authorizing tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate) and virtual training platforms (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams)Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and IT system implementations (e.g. ERP, CRM).Core Competencies:Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE, SAM)Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt training approaches for diverse audiences and learning styles.Skilled in project management and capable of meeting deadline in a fast-paced environment.Other Requirements:Willingness to travel up to 30% for in-person training sessions and implementation supportAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Additional Information

Salary Range: $70-113K per year

 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
