EcoSure & Lobster Ink is looking for a Instructional Designer to join its industry-leading Content team. We deliver high-impact learning through a range of digital products blending instructional expertise, conceptual creativity and all with a full internal production team. We're expanding a portfolio serving some of the world's biggest brands, and we're looking for the best, to keep producing the best.
Our Instructional Designers are responsible for designing and executing learning assets as prescribed by the project's scope of work.
Along with a Learning Design Lead, you will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to scope, extract and analyse content accurately and thoroughly during Programme Design, laying the best possible foundation for the production team of writers, editors and designers. You may need to support in reviewing final content in video, documents or other modalities.
You will be an effective partner and team player who delights in sharing ID best practices to build awareness and support associate team foundational ID skills, while striving to innovate new ways of working or tools that improve efficiency and efficacy.
Experience Required:
Content analysis and lesson design along with SMEs and/or written content.
Foundational understanding of instructional design principles and models, i.e. performance-based learning design approaches, multimedia, and design principles.
Basic proficiency in instructional design tools and technologies – LMS systems, and industry standard authoring tools
Experience with Articulate storyline or other interactive lesson development tools highly beneficial
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum experience required
3+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on eLearning.
Minimum qualifications/education
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field, English, Linguistics, or degree in Industrial Psychology or similar.
The key competencies required include an understanding of adult learning theory and multimedia theory, excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, project timeline and budget adherence, and adept research capabilities.
