Installation Technician
**Job Title: Installation Technician** **Job Description** This role involves working out of the Hillsboro office/site with significant time spent on-site at the local customer, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment. The position provides installation and service support to ensure the continuation and expansion of business operations. Primary duties include maximizing output using constraint management techniques, sustaining process and equipment issues, and training and cross-training team members to build a self-sustaining team. **Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and troubleshoot large equipment and machinery. + Maximize output using constraint management techniques. + Sustain process and equipment issues. + Train and cross-train team members to build a self-sustaining team. + Support team activities and manage own activities independently. + Articulate issues and solutions to the customer in daily emails. **Essential Skills** + Good problem-solving ability. + Self-starter with the ability to manage own activities. + Strong math skills. + Flexibility and capability to handle multi-task operations. + Attention to detail. + Computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email. + Service, maintenance, and mechanic skills. + Experience with vacuum pumps and abatement. + Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Associate's degree preferred in technical, automotive/diesel, or related field. + Electro-mechanical experience required. + Experience with schematics is a plus. + Experience with hand tools and power tools required. + Multi-meter experience is highly preferred. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable in a clean room environment and with clean room attire (bunny suit). + Comfortable wearing a respirator. + Comfortable working in confined spaces and standing for long periods. + Comfortable working with hazardous materials and chemicals. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
