Apply/Email me your resume asap: sstaffor@teksystems.com Install Technician (Commercial Buildings) Duration: 6-12+ months contract to hire PAY RANGE: 25-35/hour (based on experience level) Location: Project in Cheyenne, WY Interview: 1 Step Interview Schedule: M-F Required Skills: + Low Voltage Electrical Experience, running wires, terminating cables etc. Ideally, skills/experience you may have too: + 2-8+ years of field experience installing commercial access control equipment such as card readers, electrified door hardware, controller boards, electric strike, mag locks etc. and experience with software(s) such as AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / Software House – CCURE / S2 + Commercial experience includes warehouses, hospitals, stadiums, shopping centers (Target, Walmarts) + 2-8+ years of field experience servicing commercial CCTV cameras, such as Axis, Milestone, Avigilon, Hanwha, etc. + Certifications not required Job Duties: Travel to the job site and work with a team to Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety. Preferred Qualifications: Solid technical skills and experience fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems. Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision. Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.). Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to travel locally to job sites on a regular basis.
