We are seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our installation department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing start-ups on newly installed HVAC RTU systems, addressing warranty-related issues, and resolving minor service problems. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform start-ups on HVAC RTU installations to ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.  Conduct warranty work for the installation department, including troubleshooting and repairing issues with newly installed systems.  Resolve minor service issues related to HVAC RTU installations, such as adjusting system settings or replacing minor components.  Collaborate with the installation department to ensure seamless handovers and resolve any installation-related issues.  Maintain accurate records of start-ups, warranty work, and minor service issues.  Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

5+ years of experience as an HVAC technician, preferably with a focus on commercial or industrial systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, systems, and controls.  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Strong communication and customer service skills.  Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required. Industry certifications, such as NATE or R-410A.  Experience with HVAC RTU systems and controls.  Familiarity with warranty processes and procedures.
