Volt is immediately hiring multiple Inspection & Repair Operator I for a top manufacturing company in Austin, Texas.

\r\n\r\n

As an Inspection & Repair Operator you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSets up station with the correct process inspection documents, screens, and/or workflow instructions.\r\n\tPerforms in process and online \"go/no go\" inspections of various types of electronics, subassemblies, peripherals or a larger assembly, identifying defects according to workmanship standards.\r\n\tPerforms touch-up and repairs.\r\n\tReads and interprets the manufacturing process instructions, visual aids/drawings (e.g. microscope and magnifying lenses).\r\n\tScans product and enters into the shop floor control system or manual tracking systems when applicable.\r\n\tAdjusts, trims or otherwise processes materials or components found on product in order to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristics.\r\n\tCommunicates any process problems with peers, supervisors/leads and/or manufacturing support.\r\n\tDocuments workload, calculating the number of products inspected and rejected.\r\n\tCompletes task schedule on time.\r\n\r\n\r\n

We are hiring for:

2nd Shift - 3:00pm - 11:15pm M-F Pay $18.50/hr with $1.85 shift premium
\r\n
\r\n3rd Shift - 11 pm - 7:15 am M-F Pay $20.50/hr with $2.56 Shift Premium

\r\n\r\n

Requirements:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t12 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred\r\n\tIPC Certification, and or successful completion of IPC Certification Training courses and materials.\r\n\tStrong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination\r\n\tAbility to use hand tools\r\n\tMust be able to read/write/speak English\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\r\n\tMust be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check\r\n\r\n\r\n

Work Environment:

\r\n\r\n

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work that requires repetitive motion. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr with $1.85 shift premium

\r\n\r\n

** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
