THE ROLE
Insomniac is looking for a Lighting Project Manager, Elevated Experiences. This position will report to BOH Manager, Elevated Experiences
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the lighting team, including technicians, and support staffWork closely with the production designer to develop and refine lighting concepts for events per festival brand guidelines.Oversee the process of ordering rental lighting equipment for eventsOversee all aspects of the lighting team, including pre-production, onsite, and post-production.Negotiate and confirm quotes and basic terms of contract with lighting vendors.Work alongside the Director of Elevated Experiences to stay within given budgets.Coordinate the setup, programming, and testing of lighting systems during load-in.Work alongside the BOH Manager to create the power plot.QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in lighting design and project management for live events.Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, equipment, and software.Leadership experience in managing a team of lighting professionals.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event dynamics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
Hiring Salary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 USD

The expected compensation for this position is:
$20.80 USD - $26.00 USD Hourly** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
