What You'll Work On The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for supporting the sales efforts of Campbell Scientific in both the Logan and Edmonton offices and ensuring quality sales service to new and existing customer accounts. The ISR initiates outbound communication with sales prospects and handles inbound sales requests that generally do not require the technical expertise of a sales engineer, but do require a high degree of time management, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. You'll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks
+ Create and maintain a strong culture in accordance with the Campbell Scientific’s core ARCTIC values -- Accountability, Respect, Client-Centric, Teamwork, Innovation, Continuous Improvement.
+ Responds to website and phones sales inquiries and generates basic sales quotes.
+ Initiates cold calls to sales leads received from marketing and sales campaigns.
+ Monitors bid notifications and forwards promising (qualified) sales inquiries to sales engineers.
+ Coordinates and sends product and services pricing updates to customers.
+ Ensures quality data entry in creating and updating customer records.
+ Involved with G2M efforts for featured product and market initiatives.
+ Involved with Marketing efforts to transition marketing leads into opportunities.
+ Lead Generation and Nurturing.
+ Researching and qualifying new leads.
+ Proactive Messaging (Marketing email blasts, phone, and regular customer touchpoints).
+ Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
+ Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
+ Maintains and improves upon the following:
+ Conversion ratio of quotes/web requests to orders
+ Monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales volume
+ Conversion ratio of market qualified leads to sales qualified leads and/or sales accepted leads
+ Web request response time
+ Number of web requests completed
+ Number of ACD phone calls picked-up
+ Number of new projects discovered through RFIs and bid notifications (i.e., won from competitors)
+ 360-degree feedback from team members and customers
What We're Looking For
+ Bachelor's or associate degree, or equivalent work experience in a technology-based company.
+ Demonstrated technical aptitude for determining the correct products for routine sales quotes.
+ Proficient with personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet search.
+ Demonstrated efficiency in problem solving skills.
+ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated attention to detail, proactive work ethic, easily self-motivated.
+ Works productively in individual and team situations and is easily coached for improvement.
+ Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience with Campbell Scientific product line.
+ Inside technical sales or marketing experience.
+ Efficiency in using sales specific software (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for sales and marketing data entry and search features.
Work Environment Standard office setting with personal workstation, personal computer, and access to computer peripherals. Physical Requirements Sitting for extending periods. Standing, bending, and twisting consistent with normal business operations in an office setting. Use of desktop PC for extended periods during a standard workday.
