Job Description

We offer an outstanding opportunity to work with some of the most exciting products within biotechnology. Our organization is developing, and we are looking for a very interesting and exciting position, in an international environment. The primary functional objective of the position is direct contact with customers, to initiate and develop relationships, which will ultimately generate sales. As an Inside Sales Rep, you will be using the telephone as your primary tool and are expected to be an expert in Inside Sales territory management.

The position is permanent and will be based in our Paris office with a multifaceted and fast paced team.

Key responsibilities:

Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers and successfully handle the sales of Company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales planCoordinate sales processes for assigned accounts for an assigned geography in accordance with approved sales and marketing plansParticipate in sales, product and systems training, marketing campaigns, special projects as presented by the Company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and proceduresIncrease current customer database through Company customer relation’s management software (Siebel CRM)Regularly provide written and verbal communication of successes, failures, best practices, to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team, region and sales organizationConnect with research scientists at all accounts for product information and sales presentationsCoordinate quotations within Company Guidelines by extending competitive pricing as needed to maintain and increase revenues with guidance from Management and/or MarketingHandle and close sales leads generated by colleagues in Marketing and Technical Support

Experience/Qualifications/Qualities:

Minimum BSc within Life Sciences requiredSome experience from a sales function in relevant industry would be helpfulExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong capabilities to interact effectively with all customer typesAbility to function optimally in a high performing teamAbility to handle time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks requiredExhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environmentComputer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar programs required
