Keathley Patterson is part of the Industrial Solutions Network & CED. We serve manufacturing clients by connecting manufacturers, systems integrators, and contractors with the people, resources, and solutions they need to succeed and grow. Inside Sales is responsible for maintaining current customer satisfaction with service and sales, and generating new sales/business through sales initiatives and goals. Inside Sales provides professional services with product knowledge, problem solving, and order enhancement. Communication and curiosity are key drivers in this position, and there are many opportunities to develop your technical and soft skills through training and hands-on experience with clients. Examples of job duties could include; + Crossing competitive material on a bill of material + Identifying gaps in a material list for items that are missing or complementary add-ons + Value-add for sales by offering alternatives, expedites, and understanding use cases + Understand customer needs and anticipate challenges + Study the latest technologies and advising your customers of their uses and applications + Pricing and negotiating with vendors or customers for different manufacturers + Quoting an opportunity and project managing timely delivery of the materials, software, or training Reports to: Inside Sales Manager Minimum Qualifications: COMPETENCIES + Communication Proficiency + Customer/Vendor Focus + Personal Effectiveness/Credibility + Technical Capacity + Teamwork + Detail-oriented + Flexibility Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, preferred + Two years’ industry specific experience, preferred + Sales and business development experience, preferred Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
