What will you do as our Inside Sales Representative?
You will play a pivotal role in driving new business by reaching out to potential customers, qualifying leads, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This individual will be responsible for initiating and managing sales opportunities, as well as contributing to the overall sales goals and success of the company.
You will also:
Initiate outbound calls to potential customers or leads to introduce products and services, qualify prospects, and drive new business opportunities. Develop new sales leads through cold emails, cold calls, and follow-ups via the COPS program. Research and engage in conversations with customers to assess their needs, budgets, and determine if our products and services are a good fit. Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and services to effectively explain benefits and features to potential customers, addressing any questions. Proactively follow up with customers after initial contact, providing additional information, answering questions, and addressing concerns to move the sales process forward. Update and maintain accurate customer and lead information in the company’s CRM system, tracking interactions, progress, and follow-up details. Handle discussions regarding pricing and contracts with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms while maintaining company profitability. Work closely with the DSS sales teams and Inside CSR team to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and fulfillment after closing a sale. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers, providing regular check-ins, addressing issues, and offering new products or upgrades. Monitor and report on sales activities, including tracking goals, sales metrics, and forecasts to help management assess performance. Stay up to date on product descriptions and industry knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities. Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals. Occasional local travel may be required for client meetings or company events. Other duties as assigned.
The Skills and Experience you need:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service role. Previous industry experience with a strong understanding of the product/service offerings and sales processes relevant to this field preferred. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong ability to build relationships and engage with customers. Comfortable with outbound cold calling and email outreach. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.Pay: $26.00 - $32.00/hour, depending on experience
