Inside Sales Intern

The Role:

Proofpoint is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to work closely with the regional sales teams. The commercial sales department is responsible for delivering the most effective cyber security solutions through protecting people and defending data across all channels including email, the web, the cloud, social media and mobile messaging.

Role Overview:

As a Commercial Sales Intern, you will utilize Sales Force, Zoom Info, Linked In, Outreach and other tools to increase the total addressable market, improve Sales Force Integrity, and generate genuine pipeline. You will work closely with Front Line Leaders and Account Managers to add new account & contacts, validate data accuracy, and prospect existing or new whitespace. 

Job Requirements:

Gather intelligence for the territories and accounts that you will be responsible forComplete accurate tracking of data changes with current and potential customers in SFDCQualify and Develop outbound sales leadsPrevious experience with solutions that can be deployed in private or public clouds a plusAbility to build sales presentationsAttend sales meetings notating administrative action itemsExperience working with SFDC or other CRM is a bonus                                                                                          Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills               Previous experience working and succeeding in a goal-driven environment preferredCreate internal enablement content and collateral

Candidate Profile:

You have the ability and interest to work full-time (a maximum of 38.5 hours/week) in our Draper, UT office on a hybrid schedule. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA. This internship is scheduled to start mid-May and run through end of August.
