Inside Sales Engineer - Analytical Products
**Job Summary:** By joining us as an Inside Sales Engineer, you will assist our customers by identifying the best solutions for their applications. You will offer and sell complete product and services solutions, provide commercial and technical support at the highest standards of customer service, in close collaboration with your peers, Outside Sales, Service Engineers, Product Managers and Business Managers. If this sounds like an exciting job for you, then join us. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Prequalifying customer requests to ensure alignment with their application and operational requirements while seeing opportunities for additional products or services. + Crafting and delivering technically accurate and commercially verified quotations, striving for on-time delivery to exceed customer expectations. + Providing comprehensive technical and commercial support to address customer inquiries and ensure satisfaction. + Maintaining meticulous records in CRM systems and other tools while actively communicating with internal and external partners. + Collaborating with manufacturing teams to address queries regarding lead times and special requirements. + Participating in customer meetings and sales gatherings as needed, presenting complete and timely technical information. + Supporting order execution to ensure the smooth processing of purchase orders and resolution of technical issues. + Proactively managing quote backlog and contributing to process improvements. + Adhering to Emerson's trade compliance, quality management procedures, and ethics policies, as well as promoting a commitment to environmental, health, and safety standards. **Who You Are:** + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to address both technical and commercial queries effectively. + Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to achieving goals. + Collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with teams across remote locations. + Proficiency in setting SMART goals and demonstrating competencies such as Action Orientation, Customer Focus, Nimble Learning, and Collaborative Skills. **For This Role, You Will Need** : + Experience with CRM software and Oracle systems. + Demonstrated proficiency in SMART goal setting and KFLA competencies. Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace. + Strong knowledge of gas, liquid, and combustion analyzers. + Familiarity with gas chromatography (GC), spectroscopy, electrochemical sensors, and other measurement techniques. + Understanding of industrial applications such as water quality monitoring, emissions analysis, and combustion efficiency. **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Education: "Bachelor's degree" in Instrumentation, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. + Experience: 2-5 years in technical sales or application engineering, preferably in analytical instrumentation. + Familiarity with regulatory standards for gas and liquid analysis (e.g., EPA, ISO, ASTM). + Prior experience in working with OEMs, system integrators, or industrial end-users. **Our Culture & Commitment to You** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
