Inside Sales Coordinator



 

Position Summary

As a key member of GFL’s Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in strengthening client relationships and offering invaluable support to the Sales team. You will work directly with customers, coordinating proposals and ensuring they have confidence in partnering with an industry leader. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive business environment. This role currently offers flexibility with a hybrid work schedule, providing a balance between in-office and remote work.

This position is based in the Lower Mainland with a regular work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work schedule in the future.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Manage incoming customer inquiries via centralized inbox and guide customers through the quoting process.

Provide quotes to customers and book services with Dispatch (full handover to Operations team).

Assist in complaint resolution and escalate issues to senior managers when necessary.

Follow up on open quotes using Power BI Sales.

Send survey and brochure to customers after first service (using Highspot – Inside Sales Platform).

Include relevant contacts (Sales, Dispatch teams) in customer communications.

Review customer feedback monthly and consolidate data in the Survey Tracker.

Address negative feedback, track corrective actions and time frames.

Share feedback data with Division Managers (DMs) and Provincial Operations teams.

Promote cross-selling opportunities by coordinating with other divisions for quarterly promotional efforts.

Analyze customer activity for improvement opportunities and delegate follow-ups to Account Managers or initiate customer call-outs as needed.

Act as liaison between Sales, Operations, and Office staff to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

Assist customers with service issues and escalate to senior management when necessary.
