Inside Sales - Client Development Representative - Cell Solutions

In return, we'll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. **Job Summary** **Client Development Representative** for **_Cell Solutions_** will be working remotely in collaboration with marketing, inside and field sales roles, using enterprise systems for client relationship management and supported by a scientific/technical services team. The Client Development Representative is responsible for gathering market information targeted to individual clients by segments, therapeutic area or modality, driving engaged prospects through to contacts in the path of the client journey as a member of the assigned Sales Team. The role involves work with internal teams through to client facing activities and direct communication with typical end user personas in the client. **Essential Responsibilities** + Use tools for client relationship management and inbound data to work in partnership with marketing, operations and field sales to optimize the opportunity pipeline in an assigned or partnered territory. + Identify, engage, and win new customers or contacts in partnership with the functions of client engagement, customer intelligence, product management and sales teams . + Advance prospects and/or leads through to contacts by setting up in-person or virtual meeting opportunities for field sales roles; planning targeted outbound content in response to client engagement data with both unknown or known prospects. + Develop competencies in effective use of the data available, including but not limited to website leads, Scileads, partners in brokerage sites, SFDC, SF Service Cloud and Maestro to expand + Outbound reach into users at existing and new clients as part of account based marketing strategy + Work and maintain a cooperative relationship with the assigned sales team to optimize the conversion to sales from qualified opportunities and contacts. + Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to marketing, product management, project management, and operations within assigned Sales Team with the ability to draw on subject matter experts. + Collaborate with Client Services team to research and develop precision targeted opportunities for prospected Sales opportunities and contacts. + Enhance competencies by gathering data on market trends, competitive products and pricing, and an analysis of competitors. + Gain knowledge of customer's study needs and applications of Charles River products and services while continuously gathering account intel and data mine new sales opportunities. + Plan, develop, implement, and optimize sales opportunity campaigns. + Collaborate with the extended selling team to position Charles River products and services for market growth or share takeaway. + Apply good practices to ensure optimal use of available enterprise tools such as CRM database via updates to sales opportunities, sales stages, marketing statuses, and customer intelligence data (SalesForce.com). + Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned. + Position does not require customer facing travel, but candidate may be required to participate in sales meetings and trade shows as necessary to build knowledge of clients, users and market competitive position. **Job Qualifications** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily using the skills and abilities outlined in this job description. Ability to work well with highly educated research scientist customers. * Strong ability to identify customer needs, obstacles to the sales process, and solutions using Charles River products and services. * Experience working with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or a similar CRM database a plus. * Comfortability with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. * Strong business sense, instinct, and personal drive. * Team goal oriented with a focus on achieving team sales performance metrics through personal contribution and teamwork. **Education, Experience, and Licensure** * Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field required; Biology, Genetics, Cell and Molecular Biology. Cell Sourcing, Cell and Gene Therapy, Cell Biology, strongly preferred. * 3+ years of successful sales experience with a technical life science or research related field preferred. * An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute. Compensation Data The pay range for this position is $29.23/hr - $36.11/hr. USD annually.
