Come build your career with us! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Manager of Rehab Therapy ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the Rehab Therapy team. As a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, the Manager coordinates appropriate staffing levels and treatment schedules and monitors the amount/type/quality of the therapy services provided. The Manager guides the provision of therapeutic care to achieve optimal outcomes and excellence in patient satisfaction. The Manager can also function as a licensed therapist and administer therapy modalities and treatment as prescribed by the licensed physician. + You will prepare and implements staffing schedules, Adjusting as needed to ensure appropriate staffing levels. + You will help determine category of admission (i.e. observation status or inpatient admission) placement on department in absence of case manager. + You will complete rounding on all therapy staff according to established time frames. + You will serve as a liaison between patients, family, staff and physicians. + You will identify patient complaints; resolves issues and reports to management. + You will identify and communicates any quality/safety/risk issues to appropriate leader for resolution. + You will ensure timely, accurate documentation of services, according to hospital and departmental standards. + You will ensure completion of daily charges. + You will compile reports for chaplaincy services, social services, nursing administration, etc. and assist staff in completing other reports as needed to facilitate communication. + You will facilitate allocation of appropriate resources to ensure quality. + You will authorize the procurement of supplies, equipment, etc. in emergent situations. + You will foster a culture promoting teamwork to accommodate departmental cooperation throughout the facility. + You will review various feedback mechanisms and helps identify opportunities to improve customer/patient satisfaction. Support the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience. + You will lead in a way that inspires commitment to the vision/mission/values of the organization. Implement evidence-based employee engagement practices. + You will identify development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams.
