Inpatient Physical Therapist
**$5,000.00 Sign-On-Bonus**
JOB SUMMARY:
Livingston HealthCare Physical Therapists provide evidence-based therapy services in the inpatient and outpatient settings to individuals with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in health status due to injury, disease, or other causes.

• 1.0FTE (40 hours)
• Mon-Fri
• Variable
Compensation:
• $37.97/hr + DOE
• Sign-On-Bonus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Providing ethical, safe, and quality Physical Therapy services for patients per standard of practice set forth in the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Guide for Professional Conduct as well as the state of Montana Physical Therapy Examiners Rules and Statues.
2. Producing timely and accurate documentation of all patient care sessions, including initial evaluations with plan of care, daily treatment notes, progress reports/updated plan of cares, and discharge summaries, within 2 business days of a treatment session.
3. Sharing in the responsibility of weekend and holiday hospital coverage in a rotation with all other Staff Physical Therapists.
4. Communicating with physicians and other healthcare practitioners regarding patient care and changes in patient status using appropriate communication outlets including but not limited to email, Cerner Message Center, phone, Cortext, and verbal discussion.
5. Attending monthly staff meetings and other meetings as warranted by department manager.
6. Actively participating in Performance and Process Improvement.
7. Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants as directed by the state practice act.
8. Assisting with maintaining a clean environment for patients and staff as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Internal chart audits as requested by Manager of Rehabilitation Services.
2. Livingston HealthCare required annual competency course(s).
3. CPR Certification
4. Completion of continuing education courses to maintain state licensure and to advance skills and abilities.
5. Supervision of PT and PTA students.
6. Communication with teammates within the department and organization using organization appropriate tools such as email, phone, and text.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
1. Graduate of an APTA credentialed Physical Therapy Training Program.
2. Licensed or eligible for license in the state of Montana.
3. In good standing with current state licensing board.
4. Driver’s license in good standing in State of Montana
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Positive attitude and flexibility during routine workday.
2. Team player and cooperative with other personnel.
3. Strong communication and time management skills.
