Innovation Technology Strategist
Description Summary: Will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives, designing cutting-edge technology solutions, and creating a roadmap for leveraging new technologies to enhance our service offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial services landscape, emerging technologies, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation. Duties and Responsibilities: + Lead the development and execution of the innovation strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals and market trends in financial services. + Identify opportunities for innovation within existing processes, products, and services to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency. + Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, AI, machine learning, fintech solutions) and assess their potential impact on financial services. + Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate new ideas and technologies. + Design and architect innovative technology solutions that address business challenges and leverage new market opportunities. + Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, industry experts, and technology partners, to gather insights and feedback on innovation efforts. + Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities in the financial services industry. + Stay informed on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in innovation initiatives. + Design and architect innovative technology solutions that address business challenges and leverage new market opportunities. + Utilize agile methodologies to iterate on designs and gather user feedback to refine solutions. + Develop strategies for change management to facilitate the adoption of innovative solutions within the organization. + Provide training and support to teams to ensure successful implementation and utilization of new technologies. + Establish metrics to evaluate the success of innovation initiatives and their impact on business objectives. + Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on innovation progress, challenges, and opportunities. + Develop and refine frameworks, tools, processes, and best practices to drive and enable innovation efforts across the organization + Champion a culture of innovation and forward thinking, educating teams about new possibilities and bring an “art of the possible” mindset to problem-solving + Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. + 10+ years of experience in technology architecture, innovation management. + Proven ability to evaluate and translate innovative ideas into actionable opportunities with meaningful results + Comfort with ambiguity and ability to independently lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution Preferred Qualifications: + Strong understanding of financial services products, processes, and regulatory requirements. + Proven experience in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions. + Ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels + Comfortable operating in a fast-paced dynamic environment – able to manage multiple priorities and create / drive workplans proactively + Clear, structured verbal and written communication skills, with experience messaging to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences + Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. + Experience in cloud, programming, machine learning, vendor technical evaluations, emerging technology, and data platforms. + Knowledge of fintech innovations and emerging technologies applicable to financial services. + Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks. + Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, or similar) are a plus. + Ability to connect technical decisions to organizational impact with a track-record of attaining buy-in for ideas and approach + Demonstrated success building frameworks, tools, or processes to evaluate complex problems and/or make strategic decisions + Deep curiosity and learning mindset; stays up to date on technology trends and can connect dots across industries Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Compensation Range: 102,000.00 - 208,000.00 USD Annual The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
