A nivel mundial, somos más de 65.000 empleados apasionados por lo que hacemos y estamos comprometidos a impulsar el mundo de la salud con soluciones desde el diagnóstico hasta el tratamiento. **Job Description** Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting all manufacturing operations on the production floor through the use of lean principles and other techniques to increase productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, and reduce costs by identifying non-value added activities in the process. The position will work closely with the Operations Team to support continuous improvement efforts across the entire organization. Responsibilities • Trouble shooting of automatic equipment PLC programming & analysis Assist in planning and implementing projects designed to increase productivity, reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, reduce cost, improve quality, eliminate safety hazards or environmental impacts. • Collaborate with Engineering Technicians, Quality Control, Operations, Supply Chain and Maintenance on daily tasks such as trouble shooting equipment, resolving line balancing issues, performing root cause analysis and corrective action, conducting time studies, developing standards, and other related assignments. • Respond to customer complaints regarding product performance, quality and service. • Provide training and assistance to operators and technicians concerning new technology, processes, products, and equipment. • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports pertaining to the department’s operation. • Promote teamwork and cooperation among departments. • Interact regularly with Production Supervisors/Managers and Plant Manager to discuss problems and solutions associated with production. • Utilize various software programs (SAP, Excel, Word) to generate reports and perform data analysis. • Perform machine setup and adjustment using standardized procedures. • Work safely around moving parts and equipment; comply with safety regulations. • Participate in process improvement/Kaizen teams to address productivity, quality, and safety concerns. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent required. • Three years relevant experience preferred. • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, drawings, manuals, instructions, and forms required. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead groups and individuals to solve complex technical problems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • High level computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. • Experience working with SAP desired. • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time required.
