Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer II to join our IT team at our GHX India office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our on-premises Windows server environment, virtualized infrastructure, network infrastructure, and cloud-based systems. Additionally, they will oversee server hardware maintenance, cluster management, and troubleshooting of non-responsive hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Prem Windows Server Administration: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Windows-based servers to ensure optimal performance and security. Virtual Environment Management: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments. Network Infrastructure Support: Diagnose and resolve network infrastructure issues, working with IT teams to ensure seamless connectivity and security. AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Maintain and support cloud-based solutions, ensuring integration with on-prem infrastructure. Server Hardware Maintenance: Perform upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs of physical server hardware. Cluster Management: Manage cluster resources, including adding RAM, storage, and other upgrades as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in Windows Server administration. Strong knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments. Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with server hardware maintenance and upgrades. Proficiency in cluster management and performance tuning. Ability to physically troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional). Linux admin experience (Not required but should be open to learn). Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.). Experience with IT security best practices and compliance. BE/B Tech with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Familiarity with MDM solutions and handheld device support.
