Infrastructure Analyst III
**CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Analyst III opening for our client in New York.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 12 months **Overview:** We are looking for an Infrastructure Analyst III with expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM) and a deep understanding of various software licensing models. The ideal candidate will have experience with large Enterprise License Agreements and the ability to differentiate between entitlement and consumption license positions. This role involves handling complex installations, configurations, and ongoing system maintenance to ensure organizational IT infrastructure operates optimally. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Respond to and resolve escalated help desk incidents, ensuring effective problem resolution. + Analyze system issues, create trend reports, and support efforts to resolve identified issues. + Document procedures for work order and request-based tasks. + Diagnose and resolve technical incidents, utilizing advanced tools for troubleshooting. + Perform system maintenance activities, including patching, operating system updates, and validating changes while maintaining operational standards. + Schedule and manage maintenance changes to minimize operational risk. + Participate in cross-functional project teams and lead technical components of project work. + Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced staff members. + Create and document maintenance procedures and tasks for future reference. + Seek opportunities to automate or optimize SOPs and maintenance tasks for efficiency. + Ensure compliance with company risk and regulatory standards, escalating issues as necessary. + Support a diverse and inclusive work environment reflecting the company’s values. + Adhere to internal control standards, ensuring timely implementation of audit recommendations. + Perform additional related duties as required. **Scope of Responsibilities:** + Oversee software asset management processes and licensing compliance. + Manage complex systems infrastructure, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational standards. + Collaborate with senior teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent system issues. + Lead initiatives to enhance system performance and automation. **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** + Provide guidance to junior team members and assist with training. + Lead technical efforts within projects and cross-functional teams. + Offer expertise to less experienced staff on processes and technologies. **Education and Experience Required:** + Minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience. + Proven expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM). + Strong knowledge of software licensing models and compliance. + Familiarity with ServiceNow SAM Pro or similar tools. + Experience in technical incident management and system troubleshooting. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. **Education and Experience Preferred:** + Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field. + Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience. + Relevant certifications or specialized training in SAM and related technologies. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $58,000 to $98,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
