Job Description Summary: Do you desire real world technical experience on an engaging and supportive team? Join the Web Services and Technologies (WST) team in UNIT! The Information Technology Technician I – Application Developer will be tasked with assisting WST with the development and support of functionality for the University’s digital presence.  Opportunities include hands on web and application experience developing services and solutions to support the Villanova community while working side-by-side with professional University IT (UNIT) staff.

Tasks: Oversee Service Request/Incident queue Assist with the upkeep of the University website and web portal Correct broken links, spelling errors and investigate accessibility issues Create and update content/assets for end users Maintain Document Asset Management (DAM) repository Assist with removal of content and any archiving request Assist with documentation Complete routine audits of mobile application content for permission updates, content relevancy and accuracy, and fixing broken links Assist with quality assurance and user acceptance testing Support and train end users with the Document Management System  Assist end users with creation of and issues related to E-Forms and workflow Assist end users with account requests and updates within directory services Other tasks as assigned Requirements: General technical knowledge to support infrastructure and development. Experience with Office 365, Web Analytics, content editing, and familiarity with Content Management Systems preferred. Open to both Undergraduate and Graduate students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Candidates that can work year round are preferred. UNIT will provide training.
