Responsibilities Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services. Participates in planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services. Identifies and resolves issues/problems. Prepares/updates manuals, instructions, and operating procedures. Provides information and assistance to customers on system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting. Evaluates established methods and procedures and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate. Presents formal and informal training to customers. Reports, responds to and resolves customer requests. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Work experience, education, and/or specialized intensive training sufficient to demonstrate IT knowledge and skill in: Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services. Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components. Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers. Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests. Qualifying education is graduate education in one of the following fields of study: computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, or technology management, or has provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. **Information provided on your resume should be clear and specific. Assumptions will not be made regarding your experience and the duties performed.** HIGHLY PREFERRED: One (1) year of Family Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) work experience. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
