The Information Technology Internal Audit Manager is a critical leadership role within our Internal Audit department. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on IT audits to ensure the effectiveness of controls, compliance with regulations, and the efficiency of IT operations. The IT Internal Audit Manager will lead a team of IT auditors and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. This role is essential in safeguarding the company's assets, mitigating risks, and promoting best practices in IT governance.
How you will make an impact:
Develop and execute a risk-based IT audit plan aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
Lead and oversee IT audits, ensuring adherence to professional standards and methodologies.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls related to areas such as cybersecurity, data privacy, and system operations.
Identify and document audit findings, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Communicate audit results to senior management and the audit committee.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, risks, and regulatory changes.
Manage and mentor a team of IT auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaborate with IT management and other stakeholders to promote a strong control environment.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation is required.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory / management role.
Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL and AI.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Experience with various IT systems and technologies, including SAP, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
