The IT Help Desk Intern will be responsible for providing basic help desk support for desktop workstations, laptops, and peripherals to both local and remote users. This individual will learn how to fix/repair, install, move, add and modify all Windows platforms, systems, files, and directories. This individual will also learn how to load baseline software, support user accounts and access configurations. The IT Help Desk Intern will learn these and other skills by assisting/shadowing the Systems Support Specialist as they perform their duties. Includes special project to be presented to executives for evaluation.
\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
\n
•Remote User Support, may travel to remote sites as necessary
•Level I Help Desk Support and ticket escalation when necessary
•Assist with incident routing and ticket assignment
•End user support and training for all systems
•Telecommunications support
•Install and provide desktop support for Windows OS, Microsoft Intune, Office 365 and Adobe software.
•Administrative duties including correspondence and document management
•Assist with hardware inventory and deployment.
General Intern Program Responsibilities:
\n•Complete an assigned project of significance focused in designated discipline and present findings to various stakeholders during the last week of the program.
•Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
\n\nMust be currently enrolled in a college or university as a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Information Technology\nMust have working knowledge with PCs, Windows 7/10/11, and Office 365.\n\n\n

\nIntern Project: Interns will collaborate with their Department Managers, Mentors, Program Coordinator on a specific project based on their department. At the end, interns will present their project findings and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
