DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an IT Generalist 2, you will be tasked with overseeing contractor performance as it applies to all application development maintenance and operation process and planning. This includes using the software defined by EBR (currently TFS) to track change requests, defect fixes, verify testing completeness, and create reports. You will be responsible for managing the release process by working closely with other technical and program area teams and within established procedures. This position gives you the opportunity to lead the delivery and facilitation of formal and informal IT training for users as well as participate in the development of the IT strategic plan through coordination with IT managers to align IT systems with the agency’s mission.
