Nightwing is seeking to hire a highly motivated Information Systems Administrator (SA) to join a small team in a dynamic, mission focused environment, supporting multiple small to medium Linux and Microsoft Server/Windows networks.

The SA will install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, computers, software and network infrastructure, and manage user accounts. The SA will monitor and tune server/client system performance, install system wide software and upgrades, and allocate storage space. The candidate will install, configure and maintain Cisco routers, ASAs, switches and cabling, and maintain and configure on premises VMware virtual infrastructures. The candidate will provide desktop support to local users, and process and maintain inventory. The candidate will collaborate on a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, network security, information security and privacy, and will coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment.

*All candidates need to have an active TS/SCI with FS Poly security clearance

Required Knowledge and Skills:

An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is requiredMinimum two years of experience administering Linux and Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systemsExperience with maintenance and troubleshooting on a small to medium-sized networkUnderstanding of network security practicesExperience implementing virtual environmentsExperience creating, maintaining, and updating network documentation, diagrams and security documentationCompetency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant work experience

An active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Education and Experience:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
