The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of enterprise-level software and hardware solutions. This role involves analyzing business requirements, providing operational leadership, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop technical solutions that align with our current offerings and framework. The men and women in Metro’s Information Technology Services (ITS) department work 24-7 to ensure optimum communications both within Metro and between Metro and the general public. Multiple IT teams work to ensure information safety and efficient and effective business transactions. ITS is a 24x7 information technology shop. Applicant must be willing and available to perform duties as required by the job. This may include occasional work on nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. ***Your resume must be attached to the application in order to be considered*** Typical Duties + Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-level software and hardware solutions. + Analyze and build business requirements to assist in the development of technical solutions and align with current offerings and/or framework. + Provide operational leadership and guidance to development teams during project execution. + Evaluate existing systems to propose improvements and enhancements. + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and work closely with developers to translate them into technical solutions. + Provide and build technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design documents, and project plans. + Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and proofs of concept for potential projects. + Identify and mitigate risks associated with proposed solutions. + Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems architecture, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures. + Possess a strong understanding of APIs and API Management. + Ability to develop based off technical requirement using key tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Orchestrator, OpenText Orchestrator and additional development tools. + Develop using key languages such as JSON, .NET and other coding languages per the proposed solutions needs. + Ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for key Metro projects. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would prepare the incumbent to perform the duties of the position at the appropriate level. Employees would typically have five (5) years of related experience in systems development, database management, API and API management, project management and technical documentation and system architecture.
