Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) system accreditation Body of Evidence (BOE) packages using approved tools, ensuring compliance with various cybersecurity regulations and policies. You will work across multiple security domains and classifications to support Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and Air Force/Space Force cybersecurity and information assurance requirements.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage RMF system accreditation BOE packages using Service and Joint eMASS or other approved A&A tools.Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for the information system (IS) across multiple security domains and classifications.Develop, review, evaluate, and verify self-testing results to validate enclave security requirements in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.Perform validation steps, compare actual and expected results, analyze differences to identify impacts and risks, and resolve issues before formal Security Test events or Site-Based Security Assessments (SBSA).Ensure IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.Prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, and SOPs concerning system security.The position may require CONUS/OCONUS travel and shift work supporting operations, exercises, and conferences.Essential SkillsExtensive experience in cybersecurity and information assurance.Proficiency in using Service and Joint eMASS or other approved A&A tools.Strong understanding of ICD 503, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1254, and other relevant cybersecurity regulations and policies.Ability to develop, review, evaluate, and verify self-testing results.Experience in performing validation steps and analyzing differences to identify impacts and risks.Excellent documentation skills to ensure IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.10+ years of relevant experience.DoD Security Clearance required.CompTIA Security+ certification.CompTIA Network+ certification.Prior editing experience with DoD or government agencies preferred.Work Environment
This position is based at Kirtland AFB. You will be working in a stable company with a good reputation, enjoying full PTO and benefits. The role supports a well-known contract in NM and may require CONUS/OCONUS travel and shift work to support operations, exercises, and conferences.
