Role Overview:

To establish and maintain the bank’s information security policies and standards by setting procedures and guidelines that will ensure all information systems and technical elements are functional and secure. Plan, direct and coordinate information security initiatives, and standards and manage all aspects of the physical and logical security of information assets and ensure confidentiality, integrity, security and availability of the information technology environment

Are you someone who can:

Implement strong security controls which are related to the bank’s policies, standards and procedures and ensure all staff, and vendors conform to these by conducting regular vulnerability assessments and related auditsCompile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisionsPrepare for and manage regular risk assessment and audits both internally and externallyManage Information Security Roles and Permissions as well as Computer Network and System Access ControlDevelop, standardize, and maintain information security policies, standard, processes, and procedures and lead a Group wide information security programme to identify, assess and mitigate risksDevelop, implement, and execute vendor assessment program that ensures all vendors comply with information security requirements and standardsDevelop, implement and maintaining a comprehensive security strategy that address all aspects of information securityEnsure identification, remediation, and compliance, through applicable project governance, for all potential compliance issues and allow for corrective action to be taken before security incidents occurMonitor and implement appropriate controls to ensure that all devices and software are up to date to reduce the risk of security incidents caused by outdated software or unpatched vulnerabilitiesImplement, maintain and manage a cyber security incident response plan (CSIRP)Implement and maintain a cyber security awareness planSupport improved data and security awareness and education including on-call availabilityOptimally manage budgets associated with security incidents and breaches by proactively identifying and mitigating security risks such as data breaches, system downtime and regulatory fines Work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and clearly communicate complex security concepts to a variety of audiences and build strong relationships with key stakeholdersImplement execute and deliver training awareness programs

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Information SystemsExperience – 3 to 5 years experience ideally within the Information Technology  service industryThe candidate should have the following Knowledge and skillsRisk Management – assess, manage and mitigate risks skillsKnowledge of Security FrameworksUnderstanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirementsProficiency in securing Network Security
